We will have elections for the next board of directors at our upcoming, end-of-year celebration (3/29).

We are currently seeking nominations for executive officers (4 positions) and parent representatives (5 positions). Terms are two years. Self-nominations are welcome. Position Duties

President: The duties of the President are to, in general, be in charge of the conduct of all businesses of the club. They shall preside at all meetings. They shall appoint heads of and/or members of committees and keep informed of all changes. The president may be a signer on all checks issued on behalf of the club.

Vice-President: The Vice-President shall perform all the duties of the President during his/her absence or inability to serve. They shall assist the president in the performance of his/her duties. The Vice-President shall also perform any duties assigned by the President of the club.

Secretary: The Secretary shall keep a complete record of all the club’s business, which shall be open at all times to the Executive Board. They shall record all minutes for all meetings. Secretary is responsible for membership lists, updating records, and correspondence of the club.

Treasurer: The Treasurer shall keep a complete and accurate record of the entire club’s finances, which shall be open at all times to all members and the Executive Board. The Treasurer is authorized to receive all money due to the club. The Treasurer shall make a statement as to the receipts and its disbursements at each meeting. The Treasurer may be a signer on all checks issued on behalf of the club. The treasurer is responsible for all deposits for the club to the club’s accounts.

Parent Representative: Parent Representatives shall support in giving guidance to the direction of the club and its leadership. In addition, parent reps often serve on planning committees.
